Bears fans react to Coby Bryant’s statement during Super Bowl ring ceremony
Coby Bryant signed with the Chicago Bears on March 11. He agreed to a three-year, $40 million contract with the franchise after spending the first four seasons of his NFL career with the Seattle Seahawks. The safety contributed to their Super Bowl-winning squad in 2025.
His arrival in Chicago addresses its big need at the safety spot. The Bears lost three of their veteran safeties in free agency, leaving them with a gaping hole. Bryant brings leadership and championship experience to a young team looking to make even more noise next season.
Chicago silenced its critics by winning the NFC North with an 11-6 record and reaching the Divisional Round. Caleb Williams starred for the team, completing 330-of-568 passes for 3,942 yards and 27 touchdowns.

During the Seahawks’ ring ceremony on Thursday, they presented Bryant with his own Super Bowl ring. He posted an Instagram story to show it off. The 27-year-old, however, and made it clear what he’s now focused on.
“Blessed! Bear down now tho!” Bryant wrote.

Bears fans showed their appreciation for Bryant’s newfound loyalty.

Bryant will be relied upon to showcase his elite coverage during Chicago’s challenging 2026 schedule. He will also likely serve as a mentor to rookies, particularly Dillon Thieneman.
The No. 25 pick of this year’s draft will play opposite Bryant to force opposing quarterbacks to hold onto the football longer. It will be key for the O-line to produce more pressures and sacks.
