Skip Bayless does not hold back on Angel Reese after seeing her against Fever
Angel Reese had a chance to win the Atlanta Dream game against the Indiana Fever on Sunday. However, she missed the potential game-winner late in the heated matchup, receiving backlash from fans and analysts, including Skip Bayless.
The three-time All-Star is one of the most relentless rebounders in the WNBA today. She is averaging a double-double of 15.6 points and 12.1 rebounds per game this season. However, Reese is only converting 42.2% of her field goal attempts, including 5-of-16 versus Indiana. Her on-court struggles didn’t help Atlanta’s cause, losing 95-91 in overtime.
Reese continues to be criticized for failing to knock down baskets inside the paint consistently. The good news for the Dream is they’re still fifth in the standings and in a good position to qualify for the playoffs.

Bayless did not hold back with his assessment of Reese’s game. He posted his take on X, which has since gone viral with almost 700,000 views.
“Angel Reese, who has made 3 straight All-Star teams, is on the way to becoming the greatest WNBA rebounder ever,” Bayless wrote. “She’s leading the league in rebounding – but also in badly blown layups. Never seen anything like her lack of control at the rim. Can make you laugh or wince.”

Reese finished Sunday’s game with 15 points, 14 rebounds and six assists. Allisha Gray set the pace for Atlanta with 32 points, seven rebounds and five assists, but their efforts were not enough to secure a victory. The Dream dropped to 21-13, 1.5 games behind.
They will next face the Las Vegas on Tuesday. Reese and Co. face a big tough test as the defending champions aim to widen the gap between them and Indiana. ESPN will show the game live starting at 9 p.m. ET from Michelob Ultra Arena.
