WNBA reacts to Caitlin Clark’s move during Fever-Liberty game
Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark debuted the newest colorway of her signature shoe on Saturday.
Clark has been grabbing sneaker headlines since the announcement of her signature basketball shoes, the Nike Caitlin 1, in June. It features the sports brand’s latest cushioning technology, which perfectly blends the “CC” logo and Clark’s branding.
Although it won’t be released to the public until October 1st at a $140 retail price, Clark has been teasing several colorways of the performance shoes.
Several of the previous ones she wore on court were the Racer Blue, Snow White, WNBA All-Star, Yellow Zest, Hot Punch and Purple Fade editions.
But the most recent colorway she wore on court was the “Teal Fade” against the New York Liberty on Saturday.
This features a dimensional gradient and layered effect on the mesh upper. Its primary colors are mint green and racer-blue style on the heel collar, rear panels and lining.
The newest color palette of the shoes received a positive reaction from the WNBA’s official X account, as they posted a short clip of Clark wearing it before the game.

New Caitlin Clark shoes to release in January 2027
As much as fans want to get their hands on the latest Teal Fade colorway of the Nike Caitlin 1s, they will need to wait a few months.
This specific version of the shoes is reportedly expected to be released in January 2027, like the other colorways.
The first edition of the Caitlin 1s, to be released on October 1st, is the Blue Racer colorway that she first revealed during their game against the Atlanta Dream on June 18.
It will primarily be in deep royal blue, with a metallic Nike swoosh on the side and her athlete logo on the tongue.
