D’Andre Swift’s two-word reaction to new Chicago Bears deal

Swift is coming off a strong 2025 season. He finished with 223 rushing attempts for a career-high 1,087 yards and nine touchdowns. His reliability gave Caleb Williams a weapon he maximized as Chicago won the NFC North and reached the Divisional Round. The team will continue to rely on the 27-year-old for his speed and route running as it aims to surpass last year’s achievements.

The Bears will open their 2026 regular season on Sunday at Bank of America Stadium. They will take on Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers before a three-game homestand. The game will be shown live on FOX at 1 p.m. ET. The team will face the Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles and New York Jets in Weeks 2, 3 and 4. A pair of away games follows, with clash with its rivals, the Green Bay Packers, and the Atlanta Falcons.
Chicago has the league’s toughest schedule, but Swift and Co. will face it head-on. They are aiming for a deeper postseason run and continue proving their doubters wrong. Swift has shown what he is capable of, and has his sights set on producing even better numbers. He will share the backfield with Kyle Monangai, who also played a key role in last year’s success.
