We Aren’t The Same

The Left loves to say they are the compassionate, tolerant, inclusive people. But are they?

In a recent interview, James Woods (one of the finest actors in the business) told how his agent, Ken Kaplan, dropped him as a client. Kaplan sent Woods an email saying, “It’s the 4th of July and I’m feeling patriotic. I don’t want to represent you anymore. I mean I could rant but you know what I’d say.”

Woods replied, “Dear Ken, I don’t actually know what you’d say. I was thinking if you’re feeling patriotic, you would appreciate free speech and one’s right to think as an individual. Be that as it may, I want to thank you for your hard work and devotion on my behalf. Be well.”

The Left’s hero’s mystify me. George Floyd, a man with a criminal background, who held a gun to a pregnant woman’s belly, who was resisting arrest for a criminal act. His autopsy reports he had three times a lethal level of fentanyl in his system (the cause of his death) as well as other drugs and had no injuries or compression to his neck. But a police officer was blamed for his death and is still in prison even though he didn’t cause his death. The Left rioted over his death and looted and burned down cities. They made him a saint with statues and murals in his honor. Seriously, this is who you want your children to admire?

The Left is responsible for the assassination of Charlie Kirk, a man who never committed a crime but promoted the love of God, family, America, the Constitution and Rule of Law. The Left hated him, called him a “hater” though he didn’t hate anyone and celebrated his death. Literally celebrated his murder in front of thousands of college students.

Now the Left is outraged over the death of two people who were also resisting law enforcement. Celebrities wore pins to Awards shows. One saying “Be Good” referring to Renee Good, a woman who had been using her car all day to block ICE agents. She had been given an order to get out of her car, one officer was trying to open her door with one hand on the handle and his arm inside her window trying to open the door from the inside. Another officer was in front of her car. She resisted and gunned her car, hitting the officer in front and injuring him. He shot her. When did it become OK to ignore orders and resist arrest? And where is the “compassion” for the injured officer? An officer who had also been injured a month earlier being dragged by a car fleeing arrest.

But no outrage over the many American citizens killed and injured by illegal aliens. Not a word of sympathy for Laken Riley, Rachel Morin (mother of five), Jocelyn Nungaray (12 year old), Megan Bos, Maria Pleitez, Ruby Garcia, Lizbeth Medina, Jamiel Shaw and many others. Democrats couldn’t even conjure up enough compassion, tolerance or inclusiveness to stand in respect of the families who lost their loved ones at the State of the Union Address.

Then at the Golden Globes celebrities wore pins saying “ICE OUT”. ICE has been deporting illegal aliens, without warrants, for decades, under Clinton, Bush and Obama without outrage or riots. But now, under Trump, they don’t want a single illegal alien deported. We know why. Illegal aliens are counted on the census and are responsible for more Democrat seats in Congress and more electoral college votes. They also vote. Without these voters Democrats couldn’t win elections.

There are videos all over social media of Leftists calling for ICE officers to be killed. ICE officers are American fathers, husbands, brothers and sons. They are enforcing laws passed by Congress. Now Democrats in Congress call them Nazis, the gestapo, kidnappers. Leftists are doxing them and their families have been threatened. How is that “tolerant and inclusive”? And when did we stop wanting law and order? When did criminals become the victims and victims become the criminals?

The Left is now anti-Christian, anti-family, anti-law enforcement, anti-sovereignty, anti-White men. They call Christians “haters” and try to ban any public expression of Christianity. Imams are allowed in schools but not ministers or prayer. How is that “inclusive and tolerant”? I’ve never ended a friendship over politics but I’ve had friends end our friendship over politics. Christians may believe abortion, homosexuality, adultery, are sins but they don’t hate the sinners. Christians know they are sinners too and that we all can repent and be forgiven. Christians pray in front of abortion clinics, the Left breaks into a church and calls the worshippers “white suprematists”.

During COVID the Left wanted the unvaxed to be put in camps, not given medical treatment, shunned and banned. Now we have Leftists wanting anyone who voted for Trump treated the same.

One of the best examples of us not being the same is when Trump was elected to his first term he knew Hillary had colluded to create a phony dossier to bring down a duly elected President. Sedition at best, treason at worst but when asked why he didn’t go after her legally he said he didn’t want to hurt a former First Lady. That didn’t cause her pause in attacking him every chance she got. And recently when asked about the Clinton’s being subpoenaed he said he was sad. He had nothing but kind words to say about them.

No, we are not like them.
