Selling Out America

The government has become bolder in its activities with a full display of how it is fully engaged with the United Nations (UN).  Apparently, it has become so arrogant it has less fear of exposing details of how it is destroying America.

The White House website is laden with statements on various subjects, some of which are the UN sustainable development goals, and the UN.  Aside from the most glaring devotion to Agenda 2030 from September 20, 2023, there are also other declarations of loyalty to the UN.

September 19, 2023 – Readout of President Biden’s Meeting with United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres “reaffirmed the strong partnership between the United States and the United Nations.”, “discussed efforts to reform and strengthen multilateral institutions to make them more inclusive and effective and better equipped to deliver on the Sustainable Development Goals”.

Prior to the fall of 2023, there weren’t such blatant admissions by the White House.  But most of these statements clearly reflect a deliberate entanglement with other countries, especially economically, where foreign countries, such as the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), are being negotiated with to bring their corporations onto American soil, and into states such as Michigan, Washington, North Carolina, Texas, Arizona, Louisiana, Georgia, Tennessee, New Mexico, Kansas, West Virginia, and Colorado, along with strings attached.

Through the “Investing in America” scheme, these foreign corporations are subsidized to build manufacturing facilities that will provide jobs for Americans, being labeled as “job-creating investments”.  This so-called “Investment in America” is really about bringing foreign countries in, not building America up from within.  SelectUSA is another government plan that brings in more foreigners.  Isn’t this really about creating a path for more wealth in foreign countries at America’s expense?  It may clarify the claim of “creating jobs” without disclosing some of those jobs are being created by foreign corporations, and accelerating SDG 17.5 of which many APEC developing countries belong.  Also insulting, these corporations are focused on manufacturing products for other sustainable development goals such as for green technology.  More disturbing, where did the Founders say it was a government role to even create jobs?

This “foreign direct investment” (FDI) is supported by the World Economic Forum (WEF) to “generate not only capital and revenue, but also jobs, knowledge, technology, innovation, upgrading and especially inclusive, sustainable and responsible growth” and “fulfil the climate justice agenda“. Disadvantages of FDI?  Displacement of local businesses and primarily, “that firms will not reinvest profits back into the host country” leading “to large capital outflows from the host country.” Ah yes, redistribution of wealth from the U.S. to poorer countries.

So, with so many complaints about outsourcing American manufacturing over the years, now the solution is bringing those foreign corporations to America so Americans can have jobs…working for foreign corporations.  What a nifty way to disguise the implementation of SDG 17.5.  Even worse, the beloved phrase “made in America” is being mocked and should be extended to say “for a foreign corporation”.  This “emphasis on foreign direct investment in new facilities on U.S. soil” is nothing more than selling out America.  Somehow, this all helps Americans save money.  Think about that the next time you go to the grocery store.

It is clear what the current White House is doing, but it is critical that everyone pay close attention to this type of activity that continues to move the path towards further globalization. If the current administration continues, anticipate more damage. If a new administration is elected, it will be even more critical to scrutinize for this type of activity. Everyone needs to learn about the SDGs and understand them so they can be recognized when implemented.
