The man was tackled by Secret Service agents and officers with the U.S. Park Police before he got over the fence around 2:45 p.m., the Washington Post reported. President Obama left for Michigan this morning and is not expected back to the White House until this early evening.

The White House was placed on lockdown after a man carrying two bags tried to jump the fence, according to reports.
The man was tackled by Secret Service agents and officers with the U.S. Park Police before he got over the fence around 2:45 p.m., the Washington Post reported.
