When This Happens, Jesus Says: “RUN” – An Urgent End-Time Warning
Posted June 9, 2025 | End Time Watch
“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains.”
— Matthew 24:15–16, KJV
These are not poetic words.
They are not metaphor.
They are a direct, urgent command from the lips of Jesus Christ Himself.
Jesus says: RUN.
This is not your typical sermon on loving your neighbor or turning the other cheek. This warning is sharp. Immediate. Alarm-sounding. Jesus points us to the ancient writings of the prophet Daniel—specifically to an event known as the Abomination of Desolation. When you see this horrifying moment unfold—something vile standing in the holy place—it is not a time to debate or delay. It’s a time to flee.
A Wake-Up Call for Today
As I continue to study end-times prophecy, I am both in awe and deeply concerned. God’s plan for the final seven years of Earth’s history is clear for those willing to study. But tragically, most churches today are silent on these truths. Silence, in this case, is dangerous. Because if you don’t know what’s coming—you won’t know when to run.
I personally believe that the Rapture of the Church happens midway through the Tribulation (a view I’ve written about in more detail elsewhere). Regardless of your view on timing, one thing is certain: the Rapture is not based on ethnicity. Jew or Gentile, it is only those who have surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ who will be caught up.
But that raises an important question:
What about the Jewish people—those who won’t recognize Jesus as the true Messiah until later in the Tribulation? Will God rescue them too?
God’s Plan for the Jews
Let’s zoom in on Israel, the epicenter of biblical prophecy. A 7-year peace treaty will been signed—one that finally allows the Third Temple to be rebuilt on the Temple Mount. The architect behind this global agreement is the Antichrist, a charismatic world leader the Jewish people mistakenly receive as their long-awaited Messiah.
For 2,000 years, they have waited.
And tragically, they accept the wrong man.
According to premillennial, dispensational teaching, many Jews will initially believe that this man is the Messiah. But halfway through the seven years, everything changes.
What Scripture Says
John 5:43 (KJV)
“I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.”
Jesus foretold this very mistake. He was rejected, but another would be received—one who comes in his own name.
Daniel 9:27 (KJV)
“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week…”
This refers to a false peace treaty, a 7-year covenant. Israel’s agreement signals trust in this leader—believing he brings peace, not knowing he is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 (KJV)
“…that man of sin be revealed… so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”
This moment—when the Antichrist enters the rebuilt temple and declares himself to be God—is the Abomination of Desolation. And it is the final wake-up call.
What Is the Abomination of Desolation?
Jesus directs us to Daniel’s writings (Daniel 9:27, 11:31, 12:11). The abomination involves blasphemy, defilement, and the takeover of the holy temple by evil itself. It marks the turning point in the Tribulation.
It’s not symbolic.
It’s not ancient history.
It’s prophecy for our time—the final generation.
When This Happens, Don’t Fight—Flee
Let this sink in: Jesus doesn’t say to rise up in resistance.
He doesn’t say to stockpile weapons or fight evil with force.
He says to flee.
Why?
Because God’s judgment is being unleashed. Evil has taken center stage. Mercy has shifted into wrath.
To flee is not cowardice—it’s obedience.
It is the moment when the line has been crossed, when the cup of iniquity is full, and when the only safe place is the wilderness God has prepared.
Why Does the Antichrist Target the Jews?
Once the Antichrist reveals himself through the Abomination of Desolation, he moves from global deception to violent persecution—with the Jewish people as his primary target.
Here’s why:
- The Antichrist is a counterfeit Christ—but he hates God’s covenant people.
- His goal is to annihilate Israel, to prevent them from fulfilling their prophetic role.
- According to Matthew 23:39, Jesus’ return is tied to Israel’s repentance:
“Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.”
Satan knows this.
So he aims to destroy Israel before they can call out to Jesus.
But even in the midst of judgment, God preserves a remnant.
Why Don’t the Jews See This Yet?
It’s a fair question. If the warnings are so clear, why can’t they see what’s coming?
Many Jewish scholars see Daniel as historical rather than prophetic.
- They interpret Daniel’s visions as fulfilled in the Babylonian exile or in the persecution under Antiochus Epiphanes.
- The “abomination of desolation” is often seen as something that already happened—not something yet to come.
This misinterpretation has eternal consequences.
Confusion Comes from Man — Clarity Comes from God
Throughout history, mankind has confused, distorted, and watered-down spiritual truth. Denominations divide. Doctrines disagree. And deception creeps in.
But God is not the author of confusion.
He knew we wouldn’t all be on the same page when these events begin.
And He has prepared a plan to preserve those who seek Him—Jew or Gentile.
The Jewish People will be taught about Jesus Christ.
According to many interpretations of end-time prophecy—especially those that take a premillennial, dispensational view based on the Bible (including the King James Version)—the Jews who flee into the mountains will indeed be taught about Jesus Christ during the Tribulation.
Here’s how this idea is generally understood, based on various scriptures:
God Preserves a Remnant (Revelation 12:6, 13–17)
“And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.”
— Revelation 12:6, KJV
The “woman” is understood by many as Israel. She flees into the wilderness and is protected by God for 1,260 days (3.5 years). During this time, God nourishes her—physically and spiritually.
The Two Witnesses Will Preach (Revelation 11:3–12)
“And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days…”
— Revelation 11:3, KJV
Many believe these two witnesses (possibly Elijah and Moses or Elijah and Enoch) will preach to Israel during the Great Tribulation. Their message will point directly to Jesus as the true Messiah.
144,000 Jewish Evangelists (Revelation 7 & 14)
God seals 144,000 Jews from the twelve tribes of Israel, who many believe will preach the gospel to both Jews and Gentiles during the Tribulation.
Israel’s Eyes Will Be Opened (Zechariah 12:10)
“…they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him…”
— Zechariah 12:10, KJV
This powerful prophecy points to the day when Israel will recognize Jesus as their Messiah. Many scholars believe this will happen during or shortly after the Tribulation.
Ultimately, a remnant of Israel will be saved and come to faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 11:26).
Final Thoughts
Imagine being tasked with designing a plan that protects God’s people and defeats evil at the climax of human history. That’s what God has done. He’s not winging it. He’s not improvising. He has a precise, prophetic plan—one that honors justice while extending mercy.
So when Jesus says “Run”, it’s not a suggestion.
It’s a lifeline.
Let him who reads, understand.

The Bible does not even mention rapture. Lost interest from there…..
yes, slimey, the rapture is mentioned just not as that particular word. it is translated from the greek, ‘harpazo’, to be caught up and taken out. read 1 thessalonians 4. it will occur pre-tribulation and not mid as this author says because we are not appointed unto wrath. Jesus made it real clear that this can happen anytime so always be ready; ‘imminent’. if you put this event mid or post you are dating it. that is no longer imminent. read also luke 21: 36. we are the bride and will be taken out before all the last satanic mess. imminent, anytime, always be ready every day.
This taken up in the clouds occurs AFTER the tribulation, dooshe bag.
I picked the meat out of this one, so crack me another! 🤔🤔🤔
