Some Insight into Satan’s “War Plan” Regarding YOU, as He Tries to Win the End-Times Battle against God –Take a Look

We are entering into a battle—just in case you weren’t aware. This battle is between Good and Evil. It is paramount that we understand God’s plan for His children. Still, some of us feel compelled to observe the enemy and see what he’s up to. I’ve taken on that responsibility of reconnaissance—to gather intelligence and share it with you.

Interestingly, the New Testament offers insight not only into God’s plan, but also into the enemy’s strategies. Yes—God wants us to be aware of what the adversary is planning.

Have you heard of the “Great Falling Away” spoken of in biblical prophecy? Consider this scripture:

2 Thessalonians 2:3 (KJV):
“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;”

This scripture clearly teaches that the Antichrist cannot come until there has first been a great falling away. But what exactly is this falling away? Is it from a church—or from Christ Himself?

The phrase “a falling away” (Greek: apostasia) most directly refers to a departure from Christ—not just a shift away from a denomination or institution. While leaving a church may reflect apostasy, the deeper issue is abandoning truth, forsaking faith, and rejecting submission to Jesus Christ.

➤ Specifically, this is a spiritual rebellion:

• Turning away from the true gospel (Galatians 1:6–9)
• Embracing false teachings, worldliness, or self-centered religion (2 Timothy 4:3–4)
• Denying or distorting Christ’s nature, salvation, and lordship (2 Peter 2:1–2)

This strategy of Satan reminds me of a military tactic called “pre-landing bombardment.” Before troops land on a hostile beach, they launch airstrikes, missiles, and heavy artillery to weaken enemy defenses—destroying bunkers, suppressing resistance, and creating chaos. That’s exactly what Satan is doing now: softening the ground, targeting believers with confusion, entertainment, and distractions—even within churches.

Sadly, some church leaders today have shifted their focus to “self-help” sermons and entertainment, rather than grounding their members in scripture and the teachings of Jesus Christ. In doing so, they’re leading their congregations away from truth.

I stay involved in social media to keep a pulse on what people are thinking. About a year and a half ago, there was a frenzy about the Rapture. Many were excited, hopeful. But when the moment seemed to pass without fulfillment, enthusiasm turned to skepticism—even mockery. Now I see comments like, “He’s never coming,” or, “I’m tired of getting hyped up for nothing.”

This is exactly what Satan wants: to discourage believers, dilute their faith, and distract them from watching and waiting for Christ.

Let’s make this personal:
Is your focus on Jesus Christ stronger today than it once was?
Or are you feeling worn out by end-times talk and ready to take a “break” from it all?

Be honest. If you’re drifting, you might be playing right into the enemy’s plan. Don’t let this happen to you.

Supporting Evidence: The Numbers Don’t Lie

While the “falling away” is spiritual at its core, church attendance data offers tangible evidence:

📉 U.S. Religious Affiliation

• Christian share of the U.S. population:
  • 91% in 1976
  • 73.7% in 2016
  • 64% in 2022

• According to Pew (2018–2019), 65% identified as Christian—a 12-point drop in just ten years.
• The religiously unaffiliated (“Nones”) jumped from 17% in 2009 to 26% in 2019.

• Mormon: Official stats aren’t released, but independent estimates suggest only 36–40% of global members attend weekly sacrament meetings.

As a life coach, I see this trend firsthand. Many of the people I work with haven’t just left their churches—they’ve left God altogether. If you scroll through social media, you’ll see this widespread spiritual detachment.

Satan’s Plan—Now in Motion

So now you know the enemy’s strategy. As a Christian, you are very much in his crosshairs. Expect false whispers, distractions, and discouragements designed to pull you away from Jesus Christ.

Once the Great Falling Away is complete—and we may already be at that point—a dangerous spiritual vacuum will form. People who have abandoned truth won’t stay neutral; they’ll hunger for meaning, unity, safety, and answers. That’s when the Antichrist steps in.

He won’t arrive like a tyrant. He’ll appear as a charismatic savior—offering peace, unity, and miraculous signs (2 Thessalonians 2:9–10). Those who have rejected the truth will be easily deceived. Their defenses, long worn down, will leave them vulnerable to the ultimate lie.

The Big Picture

Do you see the strategy more clearly now?

Satan’s goal is to get people to fall away so he can step in and become their new leader—one who offers what their itching ears long to hear. This is all part of a spiritual war, and we must take it seriously.

When you hear that “the falling away must come before the Antichrist is revealed,” I hope it now carries deeper meaning. It’s not just prophecy—it’s a current reality. And you are in the middle of it.

Final Word: Stand Your Ground

Be vigilant. Be prayerful. Be valiant.

Pray for strength and endurance. Have faith that your Commander—Jesus Christ—is in your foxhole with you. He has a plan, and part of that plan is protecting you from spiritual destruction. I testify that those who seek Him continually will find His protection and power.
