What happened to the law that is the schoolmaster that is to bring us unto Christ (Galatians 3:24)?

What happened to repentance before God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 20:21)?

What happened to the people in this country that understand the message of real grace such as “Go and sin no more” (John 8:11)?

“Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not:” -1 John 3:6

What happened to the fear of the Lord that teaches us to depart from iniquity (Proverbs 16:6)?

“Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;” -2 Corinthians 5:11

What happened to sanctification unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus?

“through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.” -1 Peter 1:2

What about holiness?

“Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God…” -2 Corinthians 7:1

What has happened to “Be ye holy; for I am holy” (1 Peter 1:16) and for “holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14)?

Most in America don’t even know what it means to be born again (John 3:3), and why?  It’s because they have never been converted (Psalm 19:7).

They don’t know what regeneration, or the renewing of the Holy Ghost means in them growing up in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ the Lord (2 Peter 3:18).  Why?  It’s because they have no desire for the Bread of Life (John 6:35).

Do you remember the man that ended up in Hell begging to warn his brothers about Hell? What was the reply?

“Abraham said to him, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.’ 30 And he said, ‘No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’ But he said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.” -Luke 16:29-31

What happened to the common faith of bringing forth fruit, which those who belong to the Lord live out to the glory of Christ, and that on a daily basis (Matthew 5:16; John 15:5)?

Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love (1 Thessalonians 1:3) and following Christ who is the Author and Finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2) in becoming fishers of men (Matthew 4:19).

Of course, men in this country have become so biblically illiterate as to believe that because you profess the name of Christ, no matter how you live your life, when you die you are automatically going to Heaven (Hosea 4:6).  I have seen it several times.

I knew a woman who was without natural affection towards her own children.  Her children were a problem coming into the world as were they a problem when she went out from the world.  Her boyfriends even took precedent over her own children.

She was an adulterer, a fornicator, a liar and a gambler.  Her house was under financial debt two-fold.  As a matter of fact, when she died, her children had to pay for her funeral.

Then, the hireling, not a preacher (Make distinction; John 10:12) gets up in front of everyone at the funeral and tells the people that she was a wonderful mother and that she is now in a better place.  “She is now in Heaven,” said he.

Friends, the Word of God declares just the opposite.  She was not Heaven bound, she was Hell bound!

Jesus said in Matthew 7:23: “And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

Those that continue in sin, which is transgression of God’s moral law (1 John 3:4), will die in their sin (Romans 6:23); I ask the reader, where do sinners go (John 8:24)?

Her fruits were that she had other gods (Exodus 20:3).  She did not serve the Lord.  She served herself and her lusts (James 1:14-15).

She created a Jesus that looked just like her (Exodus 20:4-5), one that was okay with her adultery, her fornication, her lying and gambling and yet, according to the modern gospel in America, she was Heaven bound.  No, this is called using the grace of God as an occasion for the flesh (Galatians 5:13).

She knew what she was doing was sin before God (Romans 3:20).  Yet, she never repented.  How do you know?  It’s because she continued on in her sins, and this willfully (Hebrews 10:26).

She used to take the name of the Lord God in vain (Exodus 20:7).  She failed to understand that “the LORD will not hold him/her guiltless that taketh his name in vain until she stood before Him: (Hebrews 9:27).

She did not honor the Sabbath day.  Rather, she dishonored the Sabbath day in disobedience, as did she dishonor her parents in dishonoring the Lord (Exodus 20:12).

She murdered by being angry with others without a cause, as did she literally commit the act of adultery by fornicating with other men (Exodus 20:13-14), and somehow or another, she and others still believed that she was Heaven bound? This because she did not take the time to read the Word for herself to see that she was living a lie (Proverbs 1:22)!

She also stole, lied and she gambled and continued to do so until the last week of her life (Exodus 20:15, 16, 17).

No, her lifestyle consisted in her living and dying in her sins.  This hireling did nothing but appease with a false sense of consolation in deceiving others that were at this woman’s funeral (Amos 2:4).

Furthermore, there was no message given of repentance (Matthew 3:2).  Why?  It’s because the hireling never repented.

But Bradlee, mercy rejoices against judgment (James 2:13).  Yes, but it is to those who are led (Romans 8:14) to repentance (John 16:8) and bring forth fruits unto repentance (Matthew 3:8).

How ridiculous it is to overlook judgment because of kindness, then love wounds itself by killing justice.  This comes from not knowing the heart and character of the living God (Jeremiah 9:24).

Do people understand “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish” (John 3:16)?

Do men understand that this is an exhibition of His hatred for sin and His love toward men (Isaiah 53:6; 1 John 4:10)?

Do we understand that His Son bled Calvary red with His blood to wash us from our sins (Hebrews 9:22; Revelation 1:5)?

“Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.” -Romans 3:25-26

If we did understand, we would live unto Him who died for us (2 Corinthians 5:15) out of gratitude, which is the mother of holiness.  We would walk in the fear of the Lord in perfecting holiness, even hating the garments spotted of the flesh (Jude 1:23) by having put on the Lord Jesus Christ in making no provision for the flesh (Romans 13:14).

How many people are in Hell today that failed to study to shew themselves approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15) in working out their own salvation with “fear and trembling’ (Philippians 2:12)?

Hell is “Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched” (Mark 9:48).  This happens because men fail to fear the Lord.

Jesus said, “But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him” (Luke 12:5).

In conclusion, Jesus asked the question, “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” (Matthew 6:46)

1 John 2:4 is clear, “He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”

“But Satan, the god of all dissension, stirreth up daily new sects, and last of all (which of all other I should never have foreseen or once suspected) he hath raised up a sect of such as teach that the Ten Commandments ought to be taken out of the church, and that men should not be terrified with the law, but gently exerted by the preaching of the grace of Christ.”-Martin Luther

You are not promised tomorrow.  Scripture says in 2 Corinthians 6:2, “…behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”

Seek Christ while He may yet be found because tomorrow may be too late.  And this, friends, is the love of Christ, to warn men to flee from the wrath to come.  Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand and once He’s washed you in His blood, then, and only then, will you bring forth the fruits of the Spirit and be found in God’s beloved Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
