Ayatollah Trumpeini; Or How America Can Win The Psychological War Against Iran

For Trump to win the war against Islamic Iran he must follow his own advice and think big. 

Attacking power stations and water infrastructure is something a Bond villain would do. Real conquerors attack symbols and strike at the heart of the enemy.

It would be beneficial for Trump to publicly convert to Islam and proclaim before the world that he is waging the war on the Islamic Republic in the name of Islam. Forget being a Jew or a King. Become an Ayatollah.

It would be a spectacular religious coup and politically kneecap the Ayatollah regime’s religious legitimacy.

In a war like this one, psychology is everything. Scripts have to be flipped. 

America failed in Afghanistan because it tried to install democracy. 

It was a mistake to fight for a representative form of government in a country that for years had been indoctrinated with Islamic teachings, due in large part to decades-long U.S. policy.

America sort of learned its lesson in Syria, opting for Al-Qaeda to take over Damascus instead of shoehornig in liberal democrats.

But smart conquerors go further by putting on the air and adopting the religion of their chosen target. Think Lawrence of Arabia. 

Trump of Persia should do likewise. The President should ditch the silly red MAGA hat and don the red turban. Conquer Iran in the name of American Islam.

It would cost nothing to pay off a few Ayatollahs to give Trump the honorific title and give credence to new American fatwas. Their loyalty is dirt cheap. 

The idea of bringing an American version of Islam into the world through the military conquest of Iran would turn history on its head. A new chapter in Iran, America and Islam would be written. 

It must be remembered that Islam is an invented religion. It can be endlessly recreated and reinterpreted. Who’s to say America isn’t already a Muslim nation and Trump a prophet of Allah? 

In a past life Trump could have easily been a Caliph. They raped, lied, and butchered even more than Trump has.

The early Muslims made it up as they went along. They were great improvisers. Why can’t they do the same today?

If America wants to remain the undisputed hegemon in the Middle East and the sole superpower in the world it must think outside the box. Embrace Islam, abandon Zionism, and the world will remain yours.
