The IPO Buzz: Biotechs BlossomHill & Latigo Upsize IPOs & Raise $495.6 Million Total

Upsized is the biotech word of the week. BlossomHill Therapeutics (BLSM) and Latigo Biotherapeutics (LTGO) increased the size of their IPOs at pricing and raised a total of $495.6 million on Thursday night (Aug. 6, 2026). The upsized trend held for all four biotech IPOs priced this week, including Attovia Therapeutics (ATTO) and Braveheart Bio (BRVE). Altogether, these four biotech IPOs raised $1.17 billion.

The biotech gold rush is driven by performance. U.S. drugmakers’ IPOs produced a weighted average return of 64 percent, according to Bloomberg data cited in a story on Wednesday (Aug. 5, 2026).

Both BlossomHill Therapeutics (BLSM) and Latigo Biotherapeutics (LTGO) are set to start trading today – Friday, Aug. 7, 2026 – on the NASDAQ.

Here are the BlossomHill and Latigo  IPO pricing details:

–BlossomHill Therapeutics (BLSM), a Phase 2-ready lung cancer biotech in San Diego, increased its IPO’s size at pricing to 9.38 million shares (9,375,000 shares) – up from 7.81 million shares in the prospectus.

The BlossomHill IPO was priced at $16.00 – the mid-point of its $15.00-to-$17.00 range – and raised $150 million on Thursday night (Aug. 6, 2026). The upsizing increased the BlossomHill IPO’s proceeds by $25 million, when compared with mid-point pricing under the original terms.

At pricing, BlossomHill had a market cap of $490.3 million.

J.P. Morgan, Leerink Partners and Guggenheim Securities acted as lead joint book-runners. LifeSci Capital and H.C. Wainwright also served as joint book-runners.

–Latigo Biotherapeutics (LTGO), a Phase 3-ready biotech developing non-opioid pain relief therapies in Thousand Oaks, California, increased its IPO’s size at pricing to 19.2 million shares – up from 16 million shares in the prospectus.

 Latigo’s IPO was priced at $18.00 – the top of its $16.00-to-$18.00 range – and it raised $345.6 million. The upsizing increased the Latigo IPO’s proceeds by $73.6 million, when compared with mid-point pricing under the original terms.

At pricing, Latigo had a market cap of $1.15 billion.

Goldman Sachs, Jefferies, Leerink Partners and Guggenheim Securities were the joint book-runners.
