Chicago Bears’ Caleb Williams has message for Packers after comeback win
It wasn’t pretty, but the Chicago Bears earned a comeback win over the Green Bay Packers in overtime.

Following the exit of quarterback Jordan Love due to a concussion in the first half, backup quarterback Malik Willis held his own to keep the time of possession in the Packers’ favor while engineering long drives to take a 16-6 lead in the fourth quarter.
However, some late offensive heroics from Caleb Williams and a successful onside kick allowed the Bears to tie up the game at 16-16. The Packers were stopped on downs during the opening possession of overtime.
Williams, who threw an interception against the Packers in Week 14 that sealed a loss, redeemed himself with a 46-yard touchdown to a fatigued DJ Moore to earn a 22-16 win in front of 60,152 fans at Soldier Field.

During his postgame interview on the FOX broadcast, Williams credited the Packers for being resilient, and suggested they’d meet again in the playoffs.
“I want to start off that’s a hell of a team over there,” Williams said. “We’ll probably see them again.”

Williams said the touchdown pass to Moore was designed this week in team meetings.
“That’s a play that coach (Ben Johnson) and I were sitting in his office one of those meetings, and we discussed that play,” Williams said. “It’s funny how it worked out. But you know, hell of a job by everybody to be able to make this play happen, coaches, players, everybody in the building.”
Williams said the team was ready for the challenge in the fourth quarter.
“We know who we are,” Williams said. “I’ve said it multiple times, we’re a team that’s going to fight to the end, and there was too much time on the clock.”
Moore was happy to earn a win over Green Bay.
“It means a lot at the end of the day to beat the Packers,” Moore said.
Williams finished 19-of-34 passing for 250 yards and two touchdowns. Moore led the Bears in receiving with 97 yards and a touchdown on five receptions.
The Bears kept their lead in the NFC North. They’ll next travel to play the San Francisco 49ers in Week 17 with the opportunity to clinch the division.
