OTL: Could Ravens Make a Trade with John Harbaugh?
If I didn’t know better, I’d think Tuesdays are reserved for news around the Maxx Crosby/Baltimore Ravens saga.

Like clockwork, yesterday brought another update on things:

Or, to perhaps put it more accurately, yesterday brought another piece covering things. As you may have heard, there was little net-new information on the subject provided in the ESPN article. That said, I’ll save you the time by offering a few key insights and summaries:
Few takeaways from it
– Ravens weren’t necessarily concerned about him for 2026 as much as it was uncertainty about long-term durability
– It doesn’t sound like the Ravens found out anything new once he got to Baltimore and the Raiders provided us with plenty of information

For the people wondering if the #Ravens already knew beforehand… I doubt it.
This is where a deeper comparison of medicals, running another MRI & having multiple docs look at the images forms a complete assessment.
Last thing I want to say on this topic lol. #RavensFlock https://t.co/w2oKxhw5cZ

Surely, I’m not the only one who’s ready for this to be over with, right? After all, the Ravens still have holes to fill and a quickly approaching NFL Draft to prepare for.
With plans of a Crosby and Henderson pairing in the open, however, fans continue to clamor for Baltimore to build the trenches:
Can we get another @Ravens signing?? SPEND THAT MONEY AND BUILD THOSE TRENCHES

Similarly, the Ravens established a willingness to part with their 2026 First Round Pick, making it entirely possible that the team could move up for Rueben Bain Jr., if he starts to slide:
I mean if you were gonna trade a 1st anyways…. Hendrickson and Bain don’t sound too bad

While I’d certainly be thrilled to see GM Eric DeCosta go get his guy in Bain, another route may have become more possible with more Tuesday news:
The New York #Giants have had multiple teams call on DE Kayvon Thibodeau

I don’t expect Thibodeaux to be cheap, but the underwhelming start to his NFL career may mean Baltimore wouldn’t have to part with Pick 14 to acquire him. Excitement around his arrival may not be quite as high, but it could be a cost-effective way to land a lottery ticket in the EDGE room.
Personally, I’d love to see the Ravens snag Thibodeau. At just 25 years old, there’s plenty of untapped potential there, and we’ve seen new HC Jesse Minter work with similarly underperforming athletic freaks before in Odafe Oweh.
Who’s to say he couldn’t work similar magic in Charm City?
Perhaps more interestingly, I do feel the Ravens have a real chance to get a franchise cornerstone at Pick 14. While it could absolutely be another EDGE (and I’d be all for that), both the OL and CB rooms could use instant starters.
On the O-Line front, we’ve considered a number of options for months now. Still, Utah product Spencer Fano continues to intrigue me for his versatility along the offensive front. It seems ESPN’s Field Yates is thinking similarly:
In @FieldYates latest two-round mock draft, he has the @Ravens selecting Utah OT Spencer Fano (14) and Clemson Edge T. J. Parker (45).

— SleeperRavens (@SleeperRavenss) March 24, 2026
Fano would likely be a plug and play starter at either Guard or Center, but would have the potential to replace LT Ronnie Stanley when the time comes. That not only provides flexibility throughout his career but also offers EDC cover as the rest of the draft unfolds.
Meanwhile, who’s Baltimore going to rely on as an outside CB opposite Nate Wiggins? You could argue it will be either Marlon Humphrey or Chidobe Awuzie, but are we particularly confident in either?
For me, Maryland native Mansoor Delane is an incredibly exciting answer:
A Maryland native a future Raven?? pic.twitter.com/7I6RaXNVgB
— Baltimore Ravens (@Ravens) March 24, 2026
Needless to say, the storyline would be awesome. On top of that, however, Baltimore would have two blazing fast CBs with top-flight pedigrees to build around into the future. Moreover, Awuzie and T.J. Tampa could comfortably compete for the CB3 & CB4 spots, while Humphrey and Hamilton are used in the slot.
Fans may not want to see the Ravens invest such a high pick in the secondary yet again, but I’m here to prove it won’t necessarily derail things:
I might’ve just did sum very nasty https://t.co/VSK5uywBXe pic.twitter.com/2lwiaPIRs4

In this scenario, assuming Baltimore replaced its Round 4 selection of EDGE Jaishawn Barham with Kayvon Thibodeau, would we not be absolutely ecstatic?
Enough of the Maxx Crosby talk – It’s time for pointless and baseless NFL Draft debates!
