Michael Jordan after another Tyler Reddick win: ‘This kid is on fire’
The 23XI Racing team celebrated another victory lane on Sunday, winning the AdventHealth 400 in Kansas. It was the fifth win for d for most wins in the first nine races of the season.
After the race went to overtime, Reddick was able to make a push and beat out Kyle Larson to win the checkered flag. As the previous wins have been, it was a party for 23XI Racing, including owner Michael Jordan. And again, the former basketball great had something to celebrate.

Following the race, Jordan caught up with the TV crew for another post-race interview. He had nothing but praise for Reddick after his fifth win of the 2026 NASCAR season.
“Well, look I mean, I’m racing against Denny [Hamlin],” Jordan said. “I really wanted to beat him because I know he was going to talk a little trash later. It was a good race, when we started running out of fuel, I didn’t know what was happening. But 23XI, all the guys drove well today, I think all four games in then top 15. That tells a lot about the program. This kid is on fire. I don’t even know what to say, I don’t know if I can cool him down. He’s unbelievable. That was an unbelievable last couple of laps. I’m proud of him. I’m proud of the whole team.”
Jordan went on to say how much fun this has been this season especially for all of the 23XI team. He knows a lot about winning and how fun it can be on the basketball court and now he’s getting a taste of that on the track.
It doesn’t look like 23XI is slowing down anytime soon, either.
