Davis Martin has been in the AL Cy Young conversation this season
MLB’s Jared Greenspan wrote an article highlighting the top pitchers in the sport right now. The White Sox got some love as they have a representative on the list in righty Davis Martin. Below is the reasoning that Greenspan gave:

He is tied for the MLB lead with seven wins and touts a 2.04 ERA through 10 starts. According to FanGraphs, only three qualified pitchers have been more valuable than Martin (2.3 WAR).”
Martin has been stepping up in a big way for the White Sox, and this isn’t the only publication to notice. Through 10 starts, he is 7-1 with a 2.04 ERA and a 1.02 WHIP across 61.2 innings. Martin is providing a winnable game every time he is on the mound. Nine of his 10 starts this year have allowed three runs or fewer, and all 10 have gone at least five innings. Being third in the American League in ERA and keeping the ball in the park, he is exactly who manager Will Venable wants to give the ball every fifth day.
