Indiana Fever announce update for Chicago Sky game
The Indiana Fever are looking to bounce back against the Chicago Sky on Saturday. They are coming off a tough loss on Thursday in overtime to the Las Vegas Aces. Caitlin Clark had an opportunity to ice the game in regulation but uncharacteristically missed two free throws. She also committed a turnover late in the extra period that led to Chelsea Gray’s triple at the buzzer that gave her team an 86-84 win.
The veteran guard showed off her clutch genes twice as she also forced overtime. Her two buzzer-beating threes in the same game were a first in WNBA history, etching her name in the record books.
Kelsey Mitchell led Indiana with a game-high 28 points, while Aliyah Boston contributed 21 points and 12 rebounds. Clark finished with 20 points and eight assists; however, she struggled with efficiency, converting just 7-of-20 attempts. Las Vegas, on the other hand, was spearheaded by A’ja Wilson’s 26 points and 13 rebounds, and Jackie Young posted 22 points and nine assists.

Indiana Fever release injury report for Sky game
The Fever announced their injury report for Saturday’s game, which matches what they had for the Aces matchup. Clark and Boston remain probable despite dealing with back and knee issues, respectively. Only Damiris Dantas is ruled out.

The three-time All-Star guard continues to battle a lingering back issue but expects to play at the United Center. She averages 21.5 points, 3.9 rebounds and 8.0 assists through 27 games. Meanwhile, Boston produces 17.0 points, 8.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.1 blocks.
Their likely availability greatly boosts Indiana as it aims to snap its two-game losing streak. A win will give the team the momentum it needs ahead of a two-game homestand. Clark, Boston and Co. hold a 19-12 record for the season and sit fifth in the standings.
