The New Temple Built in Israel Fulfilling End-Times Prophecy – The Shofar Horns Have Just Sounded – First Time in Almost 2,000 Years – What Does This Mean?

The Temple Institute in Jerusalem announced on Facebook that the shofar has been sounded on the Temple Mount, a moment that carries with it immense prophetic meaning.

“SOUNDING THE SHOFAR ON THE TEMPLE MOUNT!
For the first time in 2,000 years the shofar is being sounded on the Temple Mount. The shofar is the sound of Israel returning to HaShem and the sound of the coming ge’ula (redemption):

‘And it shall come to pass on that day, that a great shofar shall be sounded, and those lost in the land of Assyria and those exiled in the land of Egypt shall come and they shall prostrate themselves before HaShem on the holy mount in Jerusalem.’ (Isaiah 27:13)

The article titled “‘It Is Happening’: Temple Institute Declares Prophetic Moment on the Temple Mount” from Charisma Magazine discusses a significant event on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The Temple Institute, a Jewish organization dedicated to preparing for the rebuilding of the Third Temple, announced that the shofar (ram’s horn) was sounded on the Temple Mount for the first time in 2,000 years. This moment is seen as prophetically significant, symbolizing Israel’s return to God and the approaching redemption, as referenced in Isaiah 27:13.

Such a development would likely require Israel to assert greater control over the Temple Mount, one of the most contested religious sites globally.

All of us who study the end times know that a temple must soon be built by the Jewish people on the very spot where the temple of Solomon once stood. The problem? The “Dome of the Rock” is currently on this spot, which is a Muslem Sacred Building. And so, the fight for this land has been going on for almost 1,000 years.

This new temple is key in the end times, for it will be the place spoken of in the scriptures where the antichrist will come and perform the “Abomination of Desolation.” Let’s learn about this.

Daniel 9:27

“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”

Daniel 11:31

“And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.”

Matthew 24:15-16

“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains.”

Explanation:

The “abomination of desolation” is interpreted by many Bible scholars as the Antichrist entering a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem and stopping the sacrifices or performing some act of blasphemy.

Matthew 24 links this prophecy directly to the last days, warning believers to flee when this event occurs.

Daniel’s passages emphasize the timing (mid-tribulation, during the 7-year tribulation) and the blasphemous nature of the act.

So, the temple here is a key event in the end times. As we have personally seen throughout our life, it has been impossible for this new temple to be built. This sacred spot, “The Temple Mount” is currently divided. The Jewish people recognize one of the original Solomon’s temple walls that still remains standing one side of the lot, and the Muslim’s claim the “Dome of the Rock” built between 687 and 691 CE on the main area of where the temple once stood. It is one of the oldest surviving Islamic monuments.

So, for almost 1,000 years, there has been continual fighting over this sacred ground.

We also know through end times study, that it will be the Antichrist that creates a peace treaty with Israel and surrounding Middle East Countries which will allow this temple to be built. This treaty or agreement will officially start the final 7-years on earth, and the return of Jesus Christ.

Let me share a bit of news relating to this that perhaps you have not seen anywhere else.

In order for this temple to be built, according to Jewish tradition, the ashes from an unblemished Red Heifer cow, which has been sacrificed, must be used.

In September 2022, five unblemished red heifers were imported from Texas to Israel via cooperation between the Temple Institute and a Christian ministry, Boneh Israel. It was indeed a miracle that these perfect cows were found, as there have not been any discovered in the past 2,000 years.

Hamas was made aware of this, and know fully the spiritual significance of what was transpiring, and were determined NOT to allow this end times prophecy to be fulfilled.

So, on October 7, 2023 Hamas attached Israel resulting in the current war that is happening between the two today. Hamas did refer to the arrival of red heifers as part of their justification for launching the October 7, 2023 attacks—calling them “Al-Aqsa Flood.” In a televised speech marking the 100th day since the attack, Hamas military spokesperson Abu Obeida described the import as an “aggression… a detestable religious myth designed for aggression against the feelings of an entire nation”

A senior Palestinian source, speaking anonymously, also indicated that Hamas viewed the imports of the heifers—and the suggestion they might be sacrificed near the Al-Aqsa compound—as a symbolic threat to Muslim holy sites and a step toward building a Jewish temple, which contributed to the motivation for the October 7 attack. Quite interesting to say the least.

And something else, in bringing you up to speed regarding this matter.

The Jewish people are aware that they are being watched carefully by others who do not want to see prophecy fulfilled. And then, this happened…

Those in charge of the upcoming sacrifice of the red heifer announced that they had found a blemish in one of the qualified red heifers that they had received. And, because of this, they would do a trial run or a practice of the red heifer sacrifice, resulting in the ashes needed to dedicate the spot where the temple would be built.

A practice run? Were they telling the truth, or was this indeed the ACTUAL SACRIFICE occurring under the ruse of being practice?

Now, on August 25, 2025, the shofar is being sounded on the Temple Mount, something not done in 2,000 years, can you start to put the pieces together? The temple will soon be built upon the Temple Mount, fulfilling the prophecy and beginning the final 7-years on earth.

These three events are Unprecedented, and quite telling that we are indeed in the LAST DAYS. Prophecy is being fulfilled. We are witnessing the stage being set to introduce to the antichrist, who will allow this temple to be built, coordinating a 7-year peace deal.

Do you need further proof? Then keep your eyes on any news or announcement where Israel confirms that a 7-year peace agreement has just been signed, allowing the temple to be built upon the “Temple Mount” by the Jewish people. When this happens, time has just been set in motion, and all other end times prophecies will be fulfilled, just as we have learned.

I invite you to prepare for this event by accepting Jesus Christ into your life as your Savior and Redeemer. Accept His atoning sacrifice, and become “Born Again” by turning your life over to Jesus Christ. Repent of the things that you have done which are wrong. Ask God for His forgiveness, and then live your best life.

In doing this, you will be found “worthy” to be included with “His Church” as Christ comes for “His Bride” to rescue them through the event known as the Rapture, caught up to meet Jesus in the clouds.

There is some urgency here for you to recognize that time is running out. Not doing this will result in you being upon the earth when God plans to pour out 7 Bowls of Wrath upon the inhabitants of the earth. Perhaps you’d rather learn “The Hard Way.”

For those of you who are prepared, let today’s news confirm to you that the events of the end times are happening, just as they were foretold in the scriptures. Let us give praise to our God, and appreciate His willingness to inform us of what is to happen.

Let us all continue warning others to be prepared to meet Jesus Christ. To turn away from sin, and the ways of this world. They will find peace today in doing so, and more importantly, they will be prepared and qualified to spend eternity with Jesus Christ in the new world that He has created for us.
