Chicago Bears: NFL reveals punishment decision on DJ Moore
Following the Chicago Bears 20-17 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round, wide receiver DJ Moore was nowhere to be found.

The Bears receiver had a critical moment in the loss. In overtime, Moore appeared to run a route, not at full speed, before a costly interception that would allow the Rams to score a field goal and win the game on their next drive.
Bears quarterback Caleb Williams said there was a miscommunication between him and Moore. He wanted the receiver to flatten his route, but Moore went over the top.
Last week, Chicago head coach Ben Johnson blamed himself for the interception. Danny Parkins told 670 The Score that the route was a part of a new scheme concept, and Moore was confused by the play.
Regardless, Moore did not make himself available to the media after the loss. He was not at Halas Hall on Monday as the team cleared out the locker room.
Per NFL rules, all players must be available to talk to reporters after the game. If they do not, the league can punish the player by giving them a fine.
Per the league, the NFL chose not to fine Moore, via their gameday accountability report for the Divisional Round.

Former Bears center Olin Kreutz had another explanation for what happened with Moore and the team. He suggested the receiver suffered a more significant injury than thought during the game.
Moore spent five minutes in the medical tent being checked out for a concussion after hitting his head on the ground in the first half. On the next drive, Moore returned to action.
Kreutz thinks Moore didn’t want to talk to reporters to keep the media from questioning the Bears.
“That’s why you haven’t heard from him,” Kreutz said. “He can’t say that. The team can’t have him say that. It puts them in jeopardy, right? The doctors and everyone who works for the Chicago Bears.
“Now, everyone’s questioning the whole building. Why would you put him back on the field? I tell you right now guys, you ain’t keeping me out of that game, right?”
And Moore has no reason to complain about his reasoning for not talking to the media after the league decided not to issue a fine.
