Chicago Bulls moving forward with finalists for lead executive position
With the NBA Playoffs rolling on, the Chicago Bulls are in the middle of a search for a new lead executive in the front office. That search has now advanced to the next stage.
After the Bulls opted to fire both Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley, it created two needs in the front office. Before they can find Billy Donovan’s replacement, they need to make a few hires. Now, we have some names we can point to in terms of who made it to the next round of interviews.

With the Bulls completing the first round of interviews, we knew of a few names the team had on their list of candidates. Now, we know another name that was part of the interviews.
Per Jake Fischer of The Stein Line, Boston Celtics assistant general manager Dave Lewin has also been interviewed in the process. Lewin along with Matt Lloyd, Dennis Lindsey and Bryson Graham have advanced to the next round of in-person interviews.

This is pretty significant news for the Bulls as they move forward with the executive search. Ideally, the Bulls want to have this wrapped up in early May especially with the NBA Draft lottery taking place within a few weeks. Getting a lead executive in opens up the door to hiring more front office members as well as a new coaching staff.
The process should move quicker now that the Bulls have their targets essentially finalized at this point.
