OTL: What Will Ravens New Unis Look Like?
Yet again, Tuesday brought big news for Ravens fans. This time, however, it focused on the costume department, with Baltimore announcing a new collection of uniforms for the 2026 season:
It’s official!
We will debut a new uniform collection this year built for the next era of Ravens football.

Needless to say, this is major news in Charm City. The Ravens have only really had two looks since their inception in 1996. Still, it’s unclear just how different these jerseys will be.
Zach Cohen, one of social media’s most trusted uniform experts, sheds some light on what Baltimore’s new look will bring:
Got some more Baltimore Ravens uniform details for yall, great timing with their date *officially* being confirmed today
And tbh… I think this makes me even more excited for April 16:
– Iridescent accents
– Wings, talons referenced in design
– “Baltimore” wordmark on at least 1… https://t.co/cB6IyWUOg1 pic.twitter.com/FDR2uoCH0l— Zach Cohen (@ZachCohenFB) April 7, 2026
To me, the iridescent accents are the most exciting part of this release. While I hope the Ravens uniforms don’t look entirely different, I do think this could add the slight shift needed to keep things fresh. As Jae Houston outlines here, I can’t imagine they’ll be significantly different:
As the Ravens’ resident uniform freak, I am so beyond excited to see the new set. The creative team has upheld the standard since the teams’ inception – I think that this will be a slam dunk. I doubt it’ll be a full rebrand. Slight updates and a sick throwback. Maybe one…

Along those lines, I’m hopeful the integration of wings and talons won’t look too much like the fan art we’ve seen on social media for years. While an updated helmet or shoulder pad would be fun, it’d only be fun if done correctly, like the example below:
I mocked this helmet up back in 2024 with a black/purple color shift in mind. Doubt this is the exact direction but THE OPPORTUNITIES ARE ENDLESS OH MY GOD https://t.co/jTeH3HSdWH pic.twitter.com/Yw0P5G4MUP

For more predictions, check out Adam’s article on it at RSR:
Regardless, it’s important not to jump to conclusions about Baltimore’s new uniforms. Ravens brass has done right by the fans and their vision for the franchise before, and it’s truly hard to judge what they’ll look like on the field – Especially as iridescence impacts the in-motion look:
One other thing I think Ravens fans should keep in mind: anything that breaks our tradition will be polarizing to the fanbase.
We’ve seen it across the league as teams update year after year. Some people will hate it and some will love it – but I’d suggest that maybe, we’ll…

Now, back to the offseason!
We’re in peak Mock Draft season, with fans and media members alike offering different opinions on where Baltimore – and the league – will go in Round 1. With most fans torn between positions, one poses the idea of trading back to recoup more picks in a deep, not top-heavy class:
My thoughts on the Ravens first round options and what positions they should look for at that spot:
1) Trade up – Edge (Bain)
2) Pick @ 14 – OL (Ioane)
3) Trade down – Edge, OL, DL, WR, CBIf they love Bain or Ioane get them. Otherwise, if they can trade down options galore.

I would agree with the notion that additional picks are more valuable than anyone outside EDC’s most coveted players. That said, there are rumors that one of those suspected players could fall to Pick 14:
Some teams have reportedly removed Miami star DE Rueben Bain Jr. from their 1st round draft board over concerns about his 30 7/8 inch arm length

Who knows if Bain will make it anywhere near the Ravens’ selection, but if he does, I’d argue it’s a no-brainer. As Louie Pickles notes, DeCosta has shown a pattern in terms of positional value that may lead him away from iOL. While Pickles highlights CB, WR and TE, I’d throw EDGE into the mix.
The more I think about it, with the way EDC seems to look at team building and the draft, I feel like pick 14 is going to go CB, WR or TE(Sadiq) rather than the IOL. They signed Simpson for starter $$ and they like what they have in Emory Jones. Just feels primed for a swerve.

Meanwhile, could trading back involve a player as compensation? ESPN seems to think so in their (wildly unrealistic) all-trades scenario:
In ESPN’s all-trade 2026 NFL mock draft, this trade was proposed:
Dolphins receive: No. 14 overall
Ravens receive: No. 30 overall, EDGE Chop Robinson“Jesse Minter has a recent track record of turning around promising young edge rushers who disappointed with their prior teams” pic.twitter.com/TE1LLcfsZW
— Kevin Oestreicher (@koestreicher34) April 7, 2026
I won’t comment on Robinson much, but I think moving back could make sense, especially if Baltimore doesn’t feel the options available are true first round talents.
Still, the Mock Draft round-ups have great prospects falling into the Ravens’ lap:

Just a few more weeks before all these questions are answered!
