Following Thursday’s loss to the Rays, the White Sox have now moved to a 6-13 record and have lost their third straight series.
The biggest problem within the team’s roster is their hitting struggle. Simply put, the team cannot hit at all.

During Thursday’s loss to Tampa Bay, it was revealed that the Sox have a shockingly bad batting average of .193.
In a post on X from Ryan McGuffey of “The ReKAP”, the team has their worst batting average through 18 games since the 1909 season.
It’s hard to find words for how embarrassing that is.
To make matters worse, the team has a worse batting average through 18 games than they did in 2024 and 2025.

It might be mid April, but this roster should not be playing this bad of baseball. This is comically bad and a new low for the southsiders.
The Sox’s coaching staff and roster need to figure it out, immediately.
