OTL: T-Minus One Month Until Rookies Report to Camp

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Fear not, folks, the end of the off-season’s slowest period is nearly upon us – rookies report to training camp a month from today:

While we wait though, the usual offseason shenanigans continue. First today, Antonio Brown has thoughts on Zay Flowers:

It’s honestly sad to see Brown lose it in moments like this, but needless to say, it got Ravens Flock going on Twitter. Rightly or not, fans pointed out the two WRs’ first few seasons, highlighting Baltimore’s top wideout’s early career production:

And to that point, an extension may be incoming:

There’s obviously context to add in terms of the start to Brown’s career. Although he quickly became a top target upon receiving snaps, he developed under a great Steelers group with limited action early on. Flowers, on the other hand, basically sat atop the Ravens’ depth chart immediately.

Even still, though, there are some media members who believe Flowers isn’t enough to bring a Super Bowl to Charm City. Jason La Canfora believes they need more weapons:

Say what you will about La Canfora, but there have been rumors swirling around WR Stefon Diggs. RSR’s own Tony Lombardi offered his thoughts on the matter on Tuesday:

Should The Ravens Add Another Wide Receiver?

Personally, I’ll stand by the thought that Baltimore is alright at the position. As much as Diggs would help, I’m not sure he’s a good enough addition to steal snaps from exciting prospects like Devontez Walker, Elijah Sarratt, and Ja’Kobi Lane. On the other hand, I might agree with La Canfora in identifying an issue in the defensive backfield worth exploring:

I was somewhat surprised Baltimore didn’t grab an outside CB in the draft, but with Nate Wiggins needing to take a jump, Marlon Humphrey needing to bounce back, and Chidobe Awuzie needing to stay healthy and consistent, there could be room for concern. To that point, Shelby Lasso outlined why Wiggins and Walker (on the offensive side) need to step up this season.

If Cole Jackson is right about Bilhal Kone’s return, however, we could be in business.

If you recall, Kone had an outstanding start to camp last year, looking like a potential steal as a late round pick. He’s coming off a really tough injury, but any sort of contribution from him or T.J. Tampa could go a long way.

The Ravens have breakout candidates in the CB room, but there are still questions. In many ways, it’s eerily similar to the WR room.

Despite that, the team is still among the Super Bowl favorites at this stage:

Femi Ayanbadejo agrees – Do you?
