The Indiana Fever picked up their third 2026 WNBA Commissioner’s Cup win on Thursday. They are now 3-1 for third in the Eastern Conference. The Chicago Sky is now mathematically eliminated from the Commissioner’s Cup after their loss against the Fever.

Indiana hosted Chicago at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse and had a tough match. Skylar Diggins drilled the game-tying three in regulation, forcing overtime. However, the visitors couldn’t pull off the win, losing 106-114.

The Fever were without their enforcer, Sophie Cunningham, because of an injury. Despite that, they had plenty of support as almost the whole team contributed to scoring.

Indiana Fever: Sophie Cunningham reacts to Myisha Hines-Allen’s chasedown block

Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston led the way for the Fever. The third-year sharpshooter had a near triple-double with 32 points, seven rebounds, and 10 assists. Boston, on the other hand, scored 34 points, had 12 rebounds, and swatted two shots.

Despite being injured, Cunningham cheered for her squad from the sidelines. She even shared her reaction to Myisha Hines-Allen’s defensive play.

Cunningham shared the Fever’s post on X, highlighting Hines-Allen’s chasedown block on Sky guard Jacy Sheldon.

“Oh my baby Jesus. Just nasty 😮‍💨” wrote the 6-foot-1 guard.

Hines-Allen finished the game with five points, nine rebounds, three assists, and the highlight block.

The eight-year veteran has had an up-and-down season for the Fever. She has been pulled from the starting lineup to provide bench scoring. In 11 games this season, Cunningham is averaging 8.7 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists.

It is still unclear whether Cunningham will be available for Indiana’s next game against the Connecticut Sun on Saturday.
