Jets Get Pleasant Surprise From Multiple Rookies to Start Preseason

Two football players collide mid‑play: a green‑and‑white uniform on the left reaches toward an opposing player in a Buccaneers gray helmet. We highlighted rookie quarterback Cade Klubnik after the Jets loss to the Buccaneers. Now it’s time to shift the focus to several other young players who stood out for Gang Green. If you’re expecting the Jets to take another step forward this Friday, you might also be exploring resources like https://norge-casino.com/nye-casinoer. Whether you’re reviewing odds, browsing onlinecasinoer.no, or comparing options at casino neteller, success comes down to making informed decisions. The same principle applies on the football field, where quarterbacks have only a second or two to read the defense and make the right throw, and one missed assignment can completely change the outcome of a play.

Looking at a few more young players, Mory Bamba, the undrafted rookie free agent, stood out, allowing just 4 catches on 10 targets with a pair of PBU’s.  He worked out of the boundary and the slot while also making a big tackle as a gunner on special teams. Yes, Klubnik generated plenty of buzz after a solid outing in which he went 5-7 for 56 yards.  But plenty of praise should go out to some other rookies.  First and foremost, cornerback Mo Bamba. Unfortuantely for Bamba, he’s been hobbled with a bum knee this week and will be limited the rest of the preseason.

On the offensive side of the ball, it was rookie gurad Anez Cooper opening eyes. The sixth-round pick (188th overall) earned the second highest grade among all offensive linemen from the folks at PFF.com.  Cooper’s grade came in at 90.8. Here are some clips of both players in action.

Nathan Voorhis

A third player we’d like to highlight is undrafted rookie free agent defensive end Nathan Voorhis.  The Ball State product managed to make a couple of plays against the run while also drawing a holding penalty after winning off the edge and trying to get to quarterback Jalon Daniels from behind.  The Jets have two high-profile edges in David Bailey and Will McDonald, but more is always welcome.
