The full no-trade clause means he will be with the Cubs through the 2032 season. The contract details have him making $12 million this season, $23 million in 2027 and 2028, and $20 million for the remaining four years of this deal. With Hoerner signed through his age-35 season, this locks up second base for Chicago for the foreseeable future.
Coming off a season where he received National League Most Valuable Player votes for the first time in his career, Hoerner is expected to be a force in the lineup and as a star-studded second baseman on the field.
