Fever player provides inside information on Caitlin Clark-Stephanie White issue
The Indiana Fever are on a two-game skid after losing to one of the new WNBA expansion teams, the Portland Fire, on Saturday. The Fever team failed to hit the mark for most of the game, shooting just 41.4% from the field. This led to their biggest loss of the season by 16 points.
Caitlin Clark was not her usual self, scoring only six points on 1-of-7 shooting. Aliyah Boston led the way for the Fever with 18 points and seven rebounds.
On top of that, Stephanie White and her squad are coming off a tough defeat at the hands of the Golden State Valkyries.
Indiana is now 4-4 this season, sitting in ninth place in the standings.

Indiana Fever: Lexie Hull speaks out on the Caitlin Clark-Stephanie White issue
The biggest margin during the Fever-Fire game was 26 points, in favor of Portland. Tensions ran high throughout the game, especially between Indiana star Clark and Coach White.
They were caught in a heated exchange during a timeout. They were down 21 at that point, and Clark was struggling with foul trouble. White then pointed at Clark’s seat and instructed rookie Raven Johnson to sit there, replacing the Fever star.
In an interview with Yahoo Sports, Lexie Hull addresses what happened during the back-and-forth. She provided some inside information on the much-talked-about issue.
“Yeah, I mean, I think it’s just frustration,” said Hull. “We noticed they were trying to pick on Caitlin a little bit on defense, and she was getting called for some fouls. Fouls aren’t fun.”
Hull then discussed their struggles with fouls during the game.
“She got into some foul trouble,” Hull said of Clark. “Our team got into some foul trouble. That’s really all it was.”
The 6-foot-2 forward then reiterated that the frustration is just part of the game.
“Ultimately, this wasn’t something that carried on. That’s just something that happened.” Hull said.
“Unfortunately, Caitlin’s got a camera on her 24/7, so you see every little thing. This happens almost every day in women’s basketball, so it’s not something we’re worried about at all.”
