One Fan’s List of NFL Draft Targets for the Baltimore Ravens
I debated whether to submit this article or not, because I know there are people that watch a lot more tape and do a lot more player analysis than I do. That said, I felt like getting my thoughts out there. I am by no means an NFL Draft expert, and I encourage everybody to give me their honest feedback and opinions: good, bad, and ugly. To me, that is what makes the debate about all of these mock drafts and draft analysis fun. So, please let me know what you like and hate about all of my thoughts below. You can comment directly to the article or hop over to the forums, where I will start a thread for discussion and feedback.
So without further ado, I break down a list of players that I like at various points in the draft. This is not meant to be a comprehensive list, but players that I am familiar with that I wouldn’t mind seeing the Ravens draft.
Round 1 Pipe Dreams
They probably won’t be there at 14, but if they are, I run to the podium!
1) Arvell Reese, LB, Ohio State
2) Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame
3) Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State
4) Reuben Bain Jr., EDGE, Miami
5) David Bailey, EDGE, Texas Tech
6) Francis Mauigoa, OT, Miami
A few medical questions, but quality OTs are hard to find and Ronnie Stanley isn’t getting any younger. And he could likely compete for the RG position year 1 and/or be you swing tackle.
7) Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State
The play of these seven players speaks for itself, so if by some miracle any of them are still there, I think they would be a steal at #14.
More Realistic Round 1 Targets
I’m hoping one of these players slides just enough to be available when the Ravens are on the clock.
1) Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU
We all know EDC loves his corners. Delane is the top CB of the draft and would be hard to pass up if he somehow slid to #14.
2) Spencer Fano, OT, Utah
Position flexibility is too good to pass up. I think he could be your day 1 starter at RG and could be your swing tackle or future plan at OT. It’s not often Ravens are picking high enough to get this quality of a lineman.
3) Jordan Tyson, WR, Arizona State
He is the wildcard here because it all depends on how the Ravens view his medicals. If they think he is healthy, he very well may be the best WR in the draft and could be a steal at #14.
4) Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State
If the guys above are taken and he’s somehow still available, this will test the Ravens’ best player available strategy as they have three good (or better) safeties on the roster in Kyle Hamilton, Malaki Starks, and Jaylinn Hawkins. But, it’s still hard to see coach Jesse Minter passing up on this talent if somehow available.
If none of the players above are available at 14, the best bet may be to trade back (if there is a willing partner).
Round 1 Trade-Back Options
1) Vega Ioane, OG, Penn State
I’m just not a big fan of drafting OG as high as 14. If they could trade back to the 18-22 range and grab an extra pick and he’s still there, he’d be a good choice.
2) Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon
Again, I’m not a big fan of drafting a TE at 14. If they trade back and he’s somehow still available late in the first round though, it works.
3) Denzel Boston, WR, Washington
He’s sneaking up draft boards. He’s not worth the 14th pick, but again, if Ravens could trade back to the lower part of Round 1 and he was available, I would like that pick!
Round 2
1) Eli Stowers, TE, Vanderbilt
If he’s still there when Ravens are on clock at 45, he is a massive receiving threat at TE.
2) Peter Woods, DT, Clemson
Earlier when Woods was mocked mid first round, I did not like the idea. However, if somehow he is still on the board in the 2nd round, his size, strength, and athleticism might just be too much to pass up.
3) Gennings Dunker, OL, Iowa
Some medical concerns with him, but he is as tough as they come. I’m a biased Hawkeyes fan, but you can’t go wrong with a tough Hawkeye lineman!
Round 3
1) Logan Jones, C, Iowa
Feisty undersized center from Iowa, sound familiar? While Jones is nowhere near as good as former Ravens and Hawkeyes center Tyler Linderbaum, he is another tough competitor (and you can see my Hawkeye bias coming through). I’m not in love with any of the centers in this draft, and I would take my bet on Jones in a real position of need for the Ravens.
2) Malachi Fields, WR, Notre Dame.
A big-bodied receiver is something the Ravens lack. I think Fields would be a solid pick.
3) De’Zhaun Stribling, WR, Ole Miss
Strong, competitive WR with the speed to stretch the field vertically.
Rounds 4-6
1) Beau Stephens, OG, Iowa
know, you’re seeing a pattern here. I love Hawkeye linemen. Stephens graded very well, and in my biased opinion, is an underrated prospect. Particularly if the Ravens don’t draft another guard earlier in the draft, Beau Stephens could be a great pick to compete for at least a roles as a backup guard.
2) Tanner Koziol, TE, Houston
Huge 6’7″ target that could be a great weapon for Lamar Jackson.
3) Owen Heinecke, LB, Oklahoma
Undersized but athletic with ability to play pass coverage.
4) TJ Hall, CB, Iowa
My Hawkeye bias continues to show through, but Hall is a tough competitor that I like at CB in the mid rounds.
5) Adam Randall, RB, Clemson
Rare size and speed combination. Would be too good to pass up if available in late rounds in my opinion.
6) Demond Claiborne, RB, Wake Forest
Good speed with receiving upside.
7) Max Llewellyn, EDGE, Iowa
Tough competitor but not an elite athlete. He will need to improve strength to carve out a role in the NFL
7th Round or Priority UDFA
1) Kaden Wetjen, WR/Returner, Iowa
Electric returner that could compete with LaJohntay Wester.
2) Jeff Yurk, Punter, Elon
Small school, under-the-radar punter. Averaged 48.3 yard net with a long of 74 his senior season. Obviously, Ravens are looking for a punter after Jordan Stout left in free agency.
3) Ryan Eckley, Punter, Michigan State
Led FBS with 48.5 yards per punt in 2025.
4) Trey Smack, kicker, Florida
I don’t love any of the kickers in the draft, but of the group, I like Smack the best. He has a powerful leg, finishing 5-of-6 from 50+ in 2025. He’s definitely worth a flyer on one of those late 7th round picks to bring in to compete with Tyler Loop. I’m hoping the Ravens bring in somebody to challenge Loop, whether that’s a late round pick or UDFA, a veteran, or both.
So, what do you think of my targets? Let me know!
