Caitlin Clark’s new teammate had no words after Indiana Fever decision

Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark

The Indiana Fever now have their backup point guard for Caitlin Clark. This team has a lot of boxes to check in WNBA free agency, but they made sure that one of the first items on the agenda was to add a veteran who could handle playmaking duties when Clark exits the game.

This comes in the form of 5-foot-10 guard Tyasha Harris, who has reportedly agreed on a deal to join the Fever ahead of the 2026 season. Harris suited up for the Dallas Wings last season, but was limited to just five games. She averaged 4.6 points and 2.6 assists in 16.4 minutes off the bench.

Tyasha Harris’ subtle reaction to Indiana Fever move

The details of Harris’ new deal with the Fever have not been revealed. However, the 27-year-old confirmed the move via social media.

Harris took to Instagram to share her subtle reaction to joining the Fever. She shared several posts about her move via her Instagram stories. Harris, however, had no words. She did not add a caption to any of the posts, instead letting the reactions themselves do the talking.

This is a homecoming move for Harris, who is a Noblesville, Indiana native. She went to high school in Heritage Christian in Indianapolis before taking her talents to South Carolina for college.

Harris, the seventh overall pick in the 2020 WNBA Draft, is joining her third team in seven years. Apart from the Wings, she also had a two-year stint with the Connecticut Sun.

Harris is no star, but she is exactly the type of player that the Fever need to help ease the burden on Clark. Harris could very well be the first player off the bench for head coach Stephanie White whenever Clark needs to get some rest.
